Today an instresting question came up. Does creatine work? That was it. One question with tons of different answers. If you have tried it what does it do for you. I know it’s kinda like yesterdays question but just answer it. One last thing. If it did work for you, how would you rate it? Was is great and you saw awesome gains, or was it not up to your standards and would not recommend it?

Man, I hardly recognize this person. Do any of you have a great before and after picture. Post them up if you have them. They are great motivation for other people and yourself as well. So today I was thinking about health in general. Do you look at a gym membership or monthly dues to a gym as an investment in yourself for your future health. I personally think it’s a great idea when companies pay for their employees to work out. Would you rather take charge of your life and stop something before it happens or would you rather let onset diseases take their course. Which one would you rather prefer. A strength base with a negative in your cardio. Or a good Cardio base with a negative against your strength. Is one easier or faster to develop than the other. This past Sat. we had a great turnout for our “BATTLE OF THE SEXES” The girls ended up taking the crown edging out the guys by just a few burpees. The rain was coming down really hard but everyone was having fun working out and getting wet. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us, I can’t thank you all enough. Look for more upcoming events in the near future. A special thanks goes out to LuLuLemon, CrossFit Houston, and CrossFit Bayou City “Vic, you better be ready for March 7th, that’s all I gotta say” for helping us set up this awesome event.

What is your definition of fitness. What do you consider “being in shape” If you have the muscles can you use them. I like Dr. Maffetone’s definition “The ability to do a task” Dan John uses this as well. That’s where I got it from. So what is your own definiton. What other type of equipment do we need in the gym. Better bars, better bumpers, more GHD’s and rowers. If money was not an option, what type/ or piece of equipment would you like to get. If anyone says a Smith Machine they will be banned from the facility or do the 1000 burpee challange.
