Thursday Aug 6 2009 CrossFit The Woodlands WOD

This Sat. August 8th we will be at College Park Track at 9a.m. This will be our second session for our speed and power track club we are starting. Prices are still going to be $10 a person. If you don’t know about Derrick you can visit his website at

Come and see what speed and power training is all about. Improve your fitness level to excel in your workouts or any sport you might play. The basic fundamentals your learn will teach you how to gradually improve in all aspects of training.

Tonight the subject came up about donating equipment to the gym. Some different suggestions were offered.

1. Pick a piece of equipment that we need here at the gym. People would chip in and whenever we have enough money then we would buy it. This would benefit everyone at the gym obviously.

2. If you want to donate something then simply buy it and bring it.

These were just suggestions. People want to help out and that is great. I want everyone to know that if we ever need equipment I would be more than happy to purchase it. On the other hand if you want to donate something then that is great as well. If this is something you think you would like to do then post a comment and tell us what you think.

One more thing. I want to grow. We talked about telling everyone your goals. One of mine is I want to be the premier training facility in The Woodlands/ Conroe/ Spring area. I want to produce results for people that have not been able to get them on their own. I’m asking everyone that trains here to tell a person they know about the type of training we do. Try to bring them in for a free session. The more people we get involved, the more lives we can change.
